When a violent earthquake rocks Southern California, hapless teenager Calvin Fuller (Thomas Ian Nicholas) finds himself careening through a hole torn in the fabric of time. Calvin awakens in the Middle Ages, where legendary sorcerer Merlin (Ron Moody) recruits him to rid Camelot of evil. Calvin must use his 20th-century street smarts to outwit the despicable Lord Belasco (Art Malik) -- an insidious nobleman determined to wrest control of the throne from King Arthur (Joss Ackland).

Not funny, why would a boy that is usually into sports dressed up like that in a kingdom, well in fact, there wasn’t any real sports back then. Disney and Trimark wanted to make this be mixed with present and the past.

They don't make corny Family films like this anymore. It's either cartoons, or superhero films. While I understand the lackluster story and cliche writing is rather dull for a more sophisticated audience it has a beat of 90's charm that you can't seem to find in children's films these days. Kids of today deserve corny creative films that can be enjoyed by the entire family on movie night. It's not going to win any awards but it achieves the goal as a corny family film good for all ages.

This Disney movie was alright. Thomas Ian Nicholas, Joss Ackland, Paloma Baeza, Art Malik, Kate Winslet, Daniel Craig, and the rest of the cast did a decent job in this movie. The plot of the movie was just a little entertaining and kind of humorous. It's about an unexpected boy from the future being chosen to save Camelot. If you haven't seen this movie yet, don't waste your time. It's not very good.
