Audience Member unique behind the scenes look at great but flawed man and the greatest ever time for American cinema Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Manny P Unfortunately, the self absorption clouds most the wreckage of his personal life. He was a producer NOT a director, but you'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/08/22 Full Review andres s Wow, very lavish and beautiful home. This guy lived a very interesting life. Jeez talk about being in the right place at the right time. This guy had some crazy fucking luck. Interesting seeing Robert's journey through Hollywood and how he came up and kind of climbed the ladder. Also interesting to see all the battles and fights that happen on a daily basis within showbiz. I really like the way everything was presented throughout the movie. The editing and the way his life was presented made it really entertaining to watch. So interesting to see how Robert was behind all these huge films like Rosemary's Baby, Love Story and The Godfather. Rise and then fall, rise and then fall. This guy went through a lot in his life. Inspirational and motivating. I thought it was a great homage to a producer I didn't know existed until now. Seeing his tumultuous ups and downs throughout his career and life. And that parody at the end that Dustin Hoffman does of Robert was fucking hilarious. You can tell he was close to him and knew him pretty well. Great documentary that's not afraid to pull any punches. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Funny and endearing, The Kid Stays In The Picture chronicles the love of larger-than-life producer Robert Evans. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/01/20 Full Review Audience Member The title comes from a studio head's retort to defend the casting of Robert Evans in 1957's THE SUN ALSO RISES and narrated by the subject himself, in his achingly eloquent world-weariness, about the rises and falls three decades as a movie mogul, this documentary is a chilling testament to Hollywood's melting pot of success, scandal, sex, tragedy and infamy. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Just plain entertaining. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Feb 1, 2018 Full Review Austin Kennedy Film Geek Central It offers a fascinating peek into the (not always glamorous) life of a Hollywood big shot. Full of insight, meaty tidbits, and not without humor, this documentary is one of the best. Rated: 4/4 Apr 27, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews
