Johnny Loftus Decider The Kid Laroi kind of came out of nowhere, and Kids Are Growing Up contextualizes his meteoric rise with lively animation and space lent to the rapper and singer to be himself on camera. Mar 5, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member This was a 10/10 from start to finish. It wasn’t just a documentary, it was a full story about growth, pain, and finding purpose. Seeing Juice WRLD appear early on, then hearing about how his death affected LAROI, hit hard. You could feel every emotion, and it made the whole doc so much more real. The animations were also done really well. The way it switched between real-life footage and animation made everything flow better and added more depth to the story without overdoing it. It showed how far LAROI has come, but also how much he had to carry just to get there. Raw, honest, and inspiring. Watched on 21 May 2025. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/21/25 Full Review QuantumVitriol 1 An egoistical, greedy, and self-supporting "documentary" that purports the struggles of the rich and famous with their mansions shown in the interviews. Does not add anything new and has nothing interesting to actually say. The film may as well be titled "I'm Kid Laroi, Please Buy My Music." Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/12/24 Full Review Desiree G Kid Laroi's new documentary is such a raw and emotional tale of how the artist came to be the sensation that he is. It seems that nothing is off limits or held back hitting all the major moments in his career thus far - highs and lows. This is a beautiful depiction of the complexities in life, fame, friendship, and mental health. A positive message but, not a generic one. You also get to see who he is as a human and not just an entertainer which is arguably the best part. Definitely worth the watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/01/24 Full Review Read all reviews
