Audience Member If it was supposed to be a psychological thriller, it really missed the mark. The "killing others before I get you" motive of the murderer isn't believable at all. And its got a 2000s kitsch that badly dates it. But for me, somehow, it works. It had some good action sequences, some good scares, good suspense and most of all, it was nice good horror fun. Is it a genre classic? Hell no. But it is a very enjoyable fastfoodish film. Slight twist was interesting and the movie is paced in a way that makes it surprising if you weren't paying much attention. These movies generally feature new directors in the horror genre. I liked the concept of this movie, however the characters are too stereotypical for you to care overmuch. You've got the leader, and the guy who wants to be the leader, the overweight loner, the drunk/stoner and all their interchangeable hot girlfriends who have zero personalities and little gumption until it is their turn to be offed. Straightforward with few curves and a slight twist at the end. Not bad for a first effort, Chris Moore.
