After acquiring a large sum of money, friends Stanley Simon (Luke Wilson) and Bob Stein (Joshua Malina) go into business for themselves by opening an independent copy shop. But they are not the only copiers on the street. A major corporate chain is located nearby and wants to stamp out the competition. Stan and Bob wage a prankish war against their enemy, but over time Stan starts to feel exhausted by the battle and contemplates giving up and working for his girlfriend's father instead.
