When teenagers Mike (Grant Cramer) and Debbie (Suzanne Snyder) see a comet crash outside their sleepy small town, they investigate and discover a pack of murderous aliens who look very much like circus clowns. They try to warn the local authorities, but everyone assumes their story is a prank. Meanwhile, the clowns set about harvesting and eating as many people as they can. It's not until they kidnap Debbie that Mike decides it's up to him to stop the clowns' bloody rampage.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space has long been one of my favorite horror movies. It’s low budget and very over the top, but I find it charming and entertaining to watch clowns wrap people in cotton candy cocoons that burn their flesh off.

This is such a fun horror movie! I've always loved the colors, the vibrancy, and just the overall aesthetic of this film. It's also very memorable. People often talk about forgettable and unimaginative, but this film is the exact opposite of that. Every kill, (the shadow puppets, the acid pies, the boxing scene etc.) is so unique and imaginative that it just sticks with you. The scene where Jumbo uses Officer Mooney's carcass as a ventriloquist's dummy is so eerie and creepy! And finally, the climax with Jojo the Klownzilla is so cool and crazy and is just the perfect way to end this movie. Instant classic for a reason! Definitely watch!

This movie is a childhood favorite of mine. It's not meant to be scary (unless your just scared of clowns) it's more so funny and ridiculous, which I love so much. It's fun, unique, silly, creative, and the clowns have so much detail to them. This movie is the reason I love clowns as much as I do.
