Minor sins are easy to forgive for such a bold, idiosyncratic anti-Western as this, the kind we don’t often get. Go to Full Review

If not quite in the top tier of 21st-century westerns, this supernatural oater from director Ned Crowley has a distinctive silhouette. Go to Full Review

Sure, the script meanders and the dialogue occasionally gets caught up in its own importance, but overall this is an absorbing and unsettlingly gory odyssey. Go to Full Review

Killing Faith reminds me how much fun a Stephen King adaptation can be and should be. Crowley captures the spirit of the old-time Western and masterfully builds the tension for each encounter our heroes face. Go to Full Review

Entering in psycho-religious mode but obliterating any potential nuances or characterization work in the process, Killing Faith’s intriguing concept dissolves into arrhythmic storytelling and monotonous execution. Go to Full Review

Killing Faith is not a supernatural thriller or a horror movie. It’s a sad anthem on the decay of humanity and the nonchalance of survival. An enjoyable movie from start to finish. Go to Full Review

The atmosphere and production design are excellent. Definitely one of the better Western horror movies out there, in its own unique way. See more Bill T. @btreakle May 12 “Killing Faith”  This film was a unique western probably not too uncommon back in those days because people were not very educated and very gullible. But one thing for certain this movie is about your faith or lack thereof evil versus good and the story of a little girl who is believed to be possessed by the devil. That’s all I’m gonna say about this movie other than I really did like it and if you like westerns you’re going to really like this one the acting was really good and special effects were decent.       See more Kashgar A @AllFunAndGames Apr 14 Best viewed as a straight up horror and not a western. And the coda felt tacked on and unnecessary…it did nothing for the story. But otherwise it was beautiful to watch and very well acted. Guy Pierce at his best See more Read all reviews
