Joe L I love musicals. They did a good job. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/06/23 Full Review StephenPaul C LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 39 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/09/23 Full Review kevin w Arthur Askey, onetime popular Brit entertainer, headlines this very competent musical comedy on the typical subject matter of "a dork in the Army, what could happen?" The music routines are woven into the story and are so well done one hardly notices that this is basically a propaganda film (done during wartime) with the accentuation on the mobile mechanized units. The story follows a Camelot geek who believes he's found Excalibur and is bestowed the power of invulnerability. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member British goofball saves the army from a jam in Africa using what he thinks is the authentic legendary sword Excalibur. The whole plot is ridiculous, the depiction of war awkwardly cheesy and to top it off, it's dull and rather not funny. Perhaps the worst of Askey vehicles.
