Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News A loveless marriage, a midlife crisis, and awkward relationships come into play in this engaging, acerbic holiday comedy-drama. Rated: 2.5/4 Dec 31, 2020 Full Review Louisa Moore Screen Zealots King of Knives may not be the most polished project, but that adds to its rough around the edges appeal. This funny, touching, unexpected little gem kept me engaged until the end. Rated: 3 / 5 Jan 12, 2021 Full Review Daniel M. Kimmel North Shore Movies ...an abrasive comedy with more than a grain of truth that might best be understood as the anti-Hallmark Christmas movie. Rated: 3/5 Jan 3, 2021 Full Review Tom Meek Cambridge Day The dark comedy by Jon Delgado may not be knife sharp, but it does make a cut. Rated: 2.5/4 Dec 29, 2020 Full Review Carey-Ann Pawsey Orca Sound Moderately entertaining. That is the best way to sum up the film. Rated: 2.5/5 Dec 21, 2020 Full Review Charles Koplinski Reel Talk with Chuck and Pam Where the film loses its grip is with the contrived and predictable situations and the inconsistently over-the-top performances of the remainder of the cast. Rated: 2.0/4.0 Dec 20, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

tom m Okay. The story & dialogue was a bit stilted and stiff. Entertaining enough, but not great. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The characters are not believable, the acting was wooden... It felt like a student film. I genuinely do not understand why this movie is so highly rated on here. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Bad movie. Story had no build up, no real climax. Few endearing moments for the characters, especially the main character. Lots of filler moments. I found unwatchable at times. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/21 Full Review Audience Member Excellent! Intense, profound, thought provoking storyline. Characters were real. Touches on so many relevant situations, approaches them from different levels of understanding and misunderstanding. Complicated situations in the life of what appears to be a normal family. Sad but real. Having lost an adult child it was difficult. But this movie brings to life what that loss brings to a family. Nothing is the same again. And to move on from that impacts everyone in so many ways. Would love to see what happens next! It's the kind of movie you have to discuss with someone when it is over. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing movie. Great acting. Fantastic story. A must see!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member A very funny dark comedy about a very dysfunctional family. Perfect to watch around the holidays because it will make you appreciate your family that much more!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
