favian e This is like seeing "the crimson ghost" all over again. Some scenes that we have seen before, some characters very similar to The crimson ghost. But, if we talk about people, we have to talk about Dr. Vulcano, a villain who made Rocket Man fall into all his traps, a villain who was always one step ahead. Fred C. Brannon is a genius when it comes to creating heroes and villains. A series with a bad introduction and a bad conclusion. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Terrific action-adventure serial! The inspiration for 'The Rocketeer'. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member A Republic Films serial from the 1940's, featuring the legendary Ted Adams (who?) and the lovely Mae Clarke (again, who?). Let's face it, King of the Rocket Men was never intended to win an Oscar. It's an old fashioned cliff-hanger meant to keep the kids coming back to the theater for the weekly Saturday matinee. A slice of nostalgia for those old enough to remember the era and a fun little time capsule for the rest of us. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews
