The film is significantly strengthened by its lead actors, Kavin and Preethi Asrani, both of whom deliver really well. Kavin brings a natural charm and confidence to his role, while Preethi complements him effectively, showcasing her grace and strong screen presence. Their good performances are a major reason why the film remains watchable. However, despite the good story, the film struggles with a lack of consistent engagement. The narrative momentum falters at times, suggesting that the execution or pacing could have been much tighter to maintain a constant grip on the audience. A specific weakness is the soundtrack: the songs were not good. In a film that relies heavily on romance and feel-good moments, weak songs fail to enhance the emotional beats, which is a definite drawback to the overall cinematic experience. Overall, "Kiss" is a film with a good story and strong lead performances, but its lack of sustained engagement and poor soundtrack prevent it from reaching its full potential.
