Edward Guthmann San Francisco Chronicle Rated: 3/4 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times Kiss Me, Guido is a movie with a lot of funny one-liners, but no place to go with them. Like a 30-minute sitcom, it acts like you already know all the characters and are just happy to have fresh dialogue. Rated: 2/4 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review Steve Davis Austin Chronicle Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review Jan Stuart The Advocate The filmmaker runs afoul not with his primary-color strokes -- intransigence is the soul of good farce -- but rather with the lack of go-for-broke comic prowess that enables you to get away with them. Apr 5, 2022 Full Review Emanuel Levy EmanuelLevy.Com This minor indie farce plays gay and Italian-American stereotypical characters, resulting in a pleasant feel-good movie but no more. Audience Member No revelations, and full of stereotypes, but an easy and fun watch to pass the time. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member This minor indie farce plays gay and Italian-American stereotypical characters, resulting in a pleasant feel-good movie but no more. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member kinda cheesy but i like it Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member GWM. Guy with money...lol funny movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member I did not enjoy this movie at all, the film makes me feel unease. An independent movie can use some better camera work than this one. The whole film is formulaic and ridiculous, too melodramatic for me. I don't think I laughed during the film at all, it's so dull... The acting was really bad as well, except for De Sando who did a good job at being a stereotypical guido. Nick Scotti is a real eye candy however, but that's the only perk of watching this film. Another con is that the film seems to drag on and on, aiming at no where. Plus the excessive swearing was not pleasing at all. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesante historia pero todo lo demás malo.
