Truffling the script with droll movie references, Wilder and I. A. L. Diamond, his co-writer, reveal their true subject: the power of Hollywood itself. Go to Full Review

If the result isn't as hilarious as it should ideally be, it does nevertheless have moments of being very funny indeed; and it is always fascinatingly watchable. Go to Full Review

Though Kiss Me, Stupid has the structure and comic beats of a classic bedroom farce, it's an overwhelmingly cynical assessment of male jealousy and exploitation. Go to Full Review

It doesn't make much sense, but Wilder's beautiful use of the black-and-white widescreen frame, dazzling casting and crisp pace make it an interesting oddity. Go to Full Review

It’s a perversely cynical sex comedy with a brass heart and a thoroughly modern twist of a happy ending and Wilder and co-screenwriter I.A.L. Diamond, adapting an Italian sex farce, revel in the smutty garishness of the whole situation. Go to Full Review

A witless bore, with neither a smile nor a laugh to augment the smirk for the feebleminded. Go to Full Review

Lanfranco C @Lanfrancobz 11/29/2023 Dino and Dean Martin are the same person! See more santafe j 08/03/2021 The reviews baffle me. I find it hard to believe Billy Wilder directed this disaster. It's not even the quality of a Movie of the Week. Great cast, but with a script this bad, they can't make this worth watching. See more steve d 07/18/2020 They got the stupid part right. See more 01/02/2019 Comedia a primera vista ligera, pero con un mensaje sobre la fama y las relaciones. Como siempre Wilder un maestro. See more 09/24/2018 Such a strange movie. The concept is bizarre, and none of the characters are relatable. That being said, it had some laugh out loud moments.
