Lanfranco C Dino and Dean Martin are the same person! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/07/23 Full Review santafe j The reviews baffle me. I find it hard to believe Billy Wilder directed this disaster. It's not even the quality of a Movie of the Week. Great cast, but with a script this bad, they can't make this worth watching. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review steve d They got the stupid part right. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Comedia a primera vista ligera, pero con un mensaje sobre la fama y las relaciones. Como siempre Wilder un maestro. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Such a strange movie. The concept is bizarre, and none of the characters are relatable. That being said, it had some laugh out loud moments. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/24/18 Full Review Audience Member One of the weakest -if not the most- I've seen from Wilder. Between 2 and 2.5. Richard Brody New Yorker Truffling the script with droll movie references, Wilder and I. A. L. Diamond, his co-writer, reveal their true subject: the power of Hollywood itself. Jul 26, 2021 Full Review J.H. Fenwick Sight & Sound If the result isn't as hilarious as it should ideally be, it does nevertheless have moments of being very funny indeed; and it is always fascinatingly watchable. Mar 17, 2020 Full Review Scott Tobias The Dissolve Though Kiss Me, Stupid has the structure and comic beats of a classic bedroom farce, it's an overwhelmingly cynical assessment of male jealousy and exploitation. Rated: 4/5 Feb 18, 2015 Full Review Judith Crist New York Herald Tribune A witless bore, with neither a smile nor a laugh to augment the smirk for the feebleminded. Aug 15, 2022 Full Review Sean Burns Crooked Marquee It's a curiously powerful picture, pushing up against the era's mores and sexual politics in productively uncomfortable ways. Jan 21, 2022 Full Review Roger Moore Tribune News Service The passage of time and shifting of societal mores aside, "restored" scene or not, the damned thing just doesn't play. It's two hours and five minutes of compromised comedy that never finds a rhythm or a reason it needed to be filmed. Rated: 2/4 Dec 25, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
