Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/02/24 Full Review Alexander S This is my favorite Christmas movie. The animation is beautiful, and for an animated family movie, it's quite deep. I've rewatched it several times and the ending makes me tear up every time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/24 Full Review Daniel B Klaus is one of my go-to Christmas movies. Its a beautifully crafted story surrounding the origin of Christmas. It's story is engaging, heartwarming and really elevates the mood you want around the festive season. The movie has a superb pacing that makes it feel shorter than it is which works in its favour. It never wastes your time, it introduces interesting characters that grow on you throughout. It's one of Netflixs best animated movies. I'll love to see them expand this formula in the future with new movies. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Richard Roeper Chicago Sun-Times The wonderful Rashida Jones voices a teacher who could become a love interest for Jesper. And any movie that casts Norm Macdonald as a cynical boat captain who sounds exactly like Norm MacDdnald is all right by me. Rated: 3/4 Dec 3, 2019 Full Review Bilge Ebiri New York Magazine/Vulture It's awkward and weird, and yet all that awkwardness and weirdness give it personality and charm and a freewheeling, nonsensical quality that feels refreshing. Nov 25, 2019 Full Review Ashlie D. Stevens Salon.com Though there are some narrative blips in Klaus born out of a premise that is maybe just a little too complex for a 97-minute film, the movie is absolutely beautiful. Nov 18, 2019 Full Review Charlotte Harrison Charlotte Sometimes Goes to the Movies A beautiful animation with a unique spin on the origin of many of our beloved Christmas traditions. Jan 11, 2024 Full Review Nicolas Soto But Why Tho? A Geek Community The acts of kindness that [Klaus] talks about are just as important as everything else. I’ll surely make it a tradition to watch this film on Christmas Day. Rated: 10/10 Jan 22, 2023 Full Review Yasser Medina Cinefilia It has a splendid animation that serves as a background to rewrite the myth of Santa Claus with some nice characters that reach their most emotional point in their Christmas portrait of kindness and the value of selfless acts.
