After documentary filmmaker Hermann Pangloss (Peter Lohmeyer) is found dead and placed in a famous grave, Cuban cop Lorenzo Columbie (Vladimir Cruz) begins a long and tortuous investigation. He tries to piece together a coherent narrative of the day Hermann died, but each person he talks to provides a different story. There is Hermann's drag queen mother, his landlady and a midget, among other characters the exasperated cop must talk with to get to the bottom of the director's death.
