Knock Down the House ends on a high note and despite the still turbulent climate of American politics, it acts as a solid reminder that often the greatest threat to American democracy is cynicism and apathy. Go to Full Review

Ethan K @TwinkPounder Dec 11 You cannot find a better way to waste your time than to watch this movie in full I managed to waste 20 minutes before it became completely unbearable. Casting Mia Khalifa would've been a better actor choice. I sincerely believe that this should be played to death row inmates to make them as miserable as possible before they inevitably accept the sweet embrace of death and an escape from this movie. If you nasty. I would rather get remarried to my divorced wife than spend another second watching this and she abused me consistently.I would rather my dog be killed in front of me than watch this in full. My brain tumor spread further into my cerebral cortex causing complete paralysis in my lower body because I was so appalled by this movie I developed scoliosis and seized out needing to be rescued by the EMT with crap filled pants. In conclusion I wouldn't wish this movie to be watched by my worst enemy in fact I was disappointed that I couldn't rate in the negatives. See more Naomi B 12/12/2024 Knock Down the House is an incredible documentary about everyday women entering politics in order to help change systematic inequalities. The film inspired me to believe in the possibility of change at such a high level. It allows its viewers to have courage and stand up for what they believe in at such a crucial time of political conditions. See more Adrian V 09/02/2024 Great powerful remarkable documentary! This is what is needed, ordinary people representing ordinary people. See more T 12/14/2022 Look at the discrepancy between the hand-picked rotten tomato critics's scores and that of the general public's. This tells you all you need to know. This was amongst the worst drivel I have suffered through in a long time. I did so because I tried to be open-minded that it wouldn't be the worst thing I have watched this year. Oh what a foolish boy I was. I can never get back those minutes that I otherwise could have used to engage in worthwhile, productive and/or thought-provoking activities. Please do not make the same mistake as I did. Use your intuition, avoid this drivel like it's the plague. See more Ryan O 11/25/2022 Exciting, moving, and rewarding. Audiences of intellect will find plenty to enjoy here. Ignore the trolls, and be inspired. See more 06/29/2022 Do not be fooled by the audience score, this is a GOOD documentary (and if it's not good, it's at least DECENT). Yes, it can be boring at times (like most documentaries in my opinion) but the interconnected stories of different people who are all trying their best under impossible circumstances is inspiring in a way unlike most movies, because this is REAL. You'll see the wonderful hard work of these four women and wish that you were out there doing something of your own. See more Read all reviews
