Audience Member This should be no stars. If negative stars could exist, this would be the perfect example of negative stars. It's so bad, that...well it's just bad. None of this makes sense. The basic premise is that these people made a movie ten years ago that didn't really seem that anyone really cared about and now they are doing a sequel. But they are going about doing a sequel like how teenagers might do a sleepover. NO PHONES! ALL IN THE SAME ABANDONED HOUSE! IT'LL BE FUN! Forget about Omarosa in the movie. She's on the cover but she is only in the first 5 minutes of the movie and she's really just talking to herself, while other people just give her a look like, "who the fuck are you talking to? Because it isn't us" There is a reporter from some made up magazine that is going to the movie house to write up a story about this stupid movie. Then you have the three leads of the original pop up. One (Debra Wilson) was a junkie but the type of junkie that jokes about being a junkie but is clean but loves stating how high she wants to be all the time. Good character development. The curly haired woman...she walks dogs? And is poor. Which is a stark contrast to the tall skinny one who married a millionaire and is pompous. Oh the fun they have. All of them are bipolar. They make snippy remarks at an astounding rate. It's like a roast that just keeps going and going. But then there will be times they apologize, or become friends, only to be undone literally 30 seconds later by an impromptu roast. So everyone is in this house (You make recognize it from A TALKING CAT?!?!?!?) and eventually they will be shooting the movie. Even though there aren't any camera people or cameras or boom mics or any real equipment. Maybe a line read? But they just keep talking about how they are gonna do the MOVIE. Don't know where they were going to start. Scripts? MAYBE? The characters also have a bad habit of describing what the original movie was in the most ham fisted way. I understand that the characters are explaining the first movie as we had never seen it, but it doesn't make sense why people who were in the first movie have to explain what happened IN the first movie to people who were all IN THE FIRST MOVIE. "I always found a way out!" Yes, that was in the script. So murders start happening pretty quickly. They get more ridiculous as it goes on. Wolf attacks, venomous snakes, trash compactors, self immolation. It's pretty far fetched, but nothing compared to the characters actual response to these tragedies. There would always be a shocked moment, and then there would be some snarky remark by a character (usually JACKAY!). One time, the shock lasted a few seconds until the witty banter started back up. Oh did I mention Jackay stepped on a land mine? That happened. BUT IT DIDN'T! Spoilers? The weird maid is actually the one killing people. Yes they solved the mystery in a Scooby Doo fashion. It sucked. Positive: Best line read of RUMP ROAST. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
