Ostensibly a treatise on racial prejudice against middle eastern people, this is an exercise in tedium. Lots of implausibility here. A middle eastern man with a gun is holding a man and his girlfriend hostage, so the boyfriend runs away but inexplicably doesn't call the cops? The guy with the gun keeps it in his waistband most of the time? Nobody tries to use their cell phone? The woman, who starts out as an insufferable, self-absorbed yuppie, morphs into an empath and starts to care about the the gunman? It looks like virtually all of the reviewers here are trolls who were either involved in the film or are friends of the filmmaker. 100% positive audience consensus? That never happens. Similar thing on IMDB. I found this film to be ridiculous. It did keep me watching, but without credulity. I do that sometimes, just to see what happens. Well, what happens is ridiculous. The cops finally arrive, and the ending is entirely predictable.

From the beginning the mood is tense thanks to the slowly roving camera of director Randy Feldman. The movie settles into a thought-provoking struggle about different classes, races, and the male-female dynamic. Farshad Farahat shines as the victim of road rage, quickly turning the tables on the young rich white couple. A well-conceived and executed indie.

I was pleasantly impressed with how smart and thought-provoking this film was, the characters playing off each other well and engaged in a challenging conversation that makes for a tense, compelling film. The acting is top-notch and the characters believable and intriguing, and I really enjoyed how their backstory slowly unfolds. And as the film examines their lives, the audience is forced to do plenty of self-examination too.

Was not sure what to make of this movie after reading the reviews. But they were positive so gave it a try. It was worth it. It provides many of the social components of today's society. Road rage, prejudice, stereotyping. But it is well done and keeps you guessing until the end. Worth the watch

The great thing about Indie films is that the "rules" of Hollywood don't apply because they don't have to conform to a standard format for commercial reasons. Know Your Enemy is a good watch, edgy, non conforming, suspenseful action film with gritty realistic scenarios. The Director did a great job pulling off an interesting lower budget indie action film - not an easy undertaking!
