Johnny Loftus Decider MMA fans might gain something from seeing real-life pro fighter Ciryl Gane making the move into action films. But KO doesn't land its punches where it needs to most. Jun 24, 2025 Full Review JK Sooja Common Sense Media The fight scenes and action set pieces are above average, but this action thriller is too generic. Jun 11, 2025 Full Review Casey Chong Casey's Movie Mania UFC's Cyril Gane leads Netflix's predictable but visceral action thriller. Rated: 3/5 Jun 8, 2025 Full Review Pramit Chatterjee Digital Mafia Talkies since K.O. has a killer club brawl and a healthy dose of violent retribution, I had no choice but to turn into that Martin Scorsese meme and say, “Absolute cinema.” Rated: 5/5 Jun 7, 2025 Full Review Jonathon Wilson Ready Steady Cut Director Antoine Blossier favours wide, clear shots, and the fights benefit from not having been edited to pulp or distractingly embellished with visual effects. If there’s a reason to watch K.O., this is it. Rated: 2.5/5 Jun 6, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Dane B. M Cyril Gane is the star here. I'm betting he'll be brought back for another bash-'em and trash-'em. There are moments you'll have to suspend your disbelief but mostly it's a good film. Cliché? Yes, but aren't these all? Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/23/25 Full Review Alejandro E As an action film, it is not distinguished by its originality and the 88 minutes of footage noticeably lacked inventiveness. If anything, it's watchable on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/22/25 Full Review Harris R Wow, Ciryl Gane can act! I had to do a double take... is this THE Ciryl Gane from the UFC, or an actor that looks the same with the same name? Welp, to my surprise it IS UFC fighter Ciryl Gane, and this guy can act! The story wasn't anything revolutionary, and some of the fight scenes (mostly the ones with the knives and machetes) were a little cheesy (as was the gang's boss), and the story pretty much predictable, yet Gane's massive presence and on-point acting elevated this move to an enjoyable popcorn action flick. The female lead was however a little annoying and way too small to be convincing fighting next to Gane. Either way, a solid 6/10 from me. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/21/25 Full Review Andy B A solid French action thriller. Thoroughly generic, but decent acting and some good fight scenes. If that's the thing you're in the mood for you could do a lot worse. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/21/25 Full Review Greg H Good action, some humour and just the right length. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/19/25 Full Review edward h I am neither a film critic nor an expert on films. But I do know a good action thriller when I see one. And this is it! Never a dull moment. Good chemistry between the lead and his female partner. Can't help but makes you want to root for them. And of course the star of this film are the action scenes! The hero is one hell of a fighting machine. I am sure all action fans out there would love to watch this one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/12/25 Full Review Read all reviews
