Audience Member Definitly a bmovie but a fun one i loved as a kid. Just dont look for the Space Patrol sequel or prequel they dont exisit Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member The evil Lord Doom sends an amphibious monster into the Omega Quadrant to initiate the destruction of Earth, and it is up to intergalactic policeman Mogyar and a group of unsuspecting humans to stop the 200-foot menace! KRAA is Full Moon's response to the GODZILLA remake of 1998, but even fans of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers will find this all to be a bit silly. Considering the cheapness of the production, however, the scale miniatures and creature design are really quite impressive. An incredible amount of care has gone into the construction of this project, and Kraa's explosive rampage through the streets of New Jersey stacks up against many of the lesser Kaiju Eiga. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the acting or plot, but anyone willing to pick up a film called KRAA! THE SEA MONSTER will know what to expect. A resume booster for the special effects team, but only mild entertainment for monster fans. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member The plot is a mess, and from what I've heard the original script was better, but it's a fun campy little film. There are too many characters though, and some of them have little to do with the overall plot. The ending drugged on too long and the dialog was childish. The creature sets though were very nice. The film is not too good, but not too bad. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Without a doubt Kraa! The Sea Monster is grade A crud. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Without a doubt Kraa! The Sea Monster is grade A crud. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Full Moon is bringing the Kaiju... kiddy style! Kraa is one part silly Power Rangers looking film with a bunch of "space kids" manning some weird space station as part of an interplanetary space police force as a giant rubber suit of a sea monster is destroying cities on Earth, and one part classic kaiju as the monster smashes miniature buildings and toy trains and cars. Of particular note is the one scene where the monster apparently smashes out of a building somehow as if a stripper from a giant birthday cake. Not for everyone but kaiju fans may get a kick out of the low budget version of their beloved monster flicks as long as they can get past the pediatric style used to make it friendly to family audiences.
