I read one place that this was actually a TV show that was cut down into a 90 minute film. I read in another place that it was a feature film originally titled "Legend of Shaolin Kungfu 2: Thirteen Cudgel Monks". Either way, the story and fights are a far cry from even the worst Tsui Hark film (even "Double Team" is better than this one).
