I received this movie as a Netflix DVD, it was next in my queue. It kept my interest and I couldn't guess the plot or the outcome. There is very good character development, there is lots of time to get to know each person. Overall, it is a story of people trying to find their own way.

when the film works (i.e. rich komenich's performance as emil) it's fantastic but where it falters, such as annie's decision to help dee dee, a decision no one would even consider let alone opt for, it's borderline moronic. but on the whole it's a decent film about characters that desperately want to leave where they are but never actually get to going.
