Audience Member Really terrible Exorcist ripoff. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member A young child becomes possessed in this sometimes creepy Spanish chiller. Story begins with a child abduction and theft of a local church. The police jump quickly to the conclusion that it is a young person as it is noted they have become bored with things such as sex and drugs (?)--and then immediately arrest an elderly gypsy woman suspected of being a witch without any tangible proof. Appeared to be headed down the path of The Exorcist but the exorcism never does take place. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member A small child is kidnapped and sacrificed by a satanic cult. Who would do such a thing? One police officer concedes that young people nowadays are bored with sex and drugs and libel to turn to any strange rituals as an explanation. Features a foul-mouthed and possessed young girl as many plot elements are shamelessly borrowed from The Exorcist. I still enjoyed it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member I found this Exorcist rip-off fairly charming, if only because it seems to go out of its way to be extra sleazy or disturbing. No one is spared: not infants & children, nor mens genitals- everything is up for violence and it's amusing to watch the little possessed girl wander around spouting off shitty comments to everyone around her. Worth a rental. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member I really enjoy this type of movie. This is a sub-genre all its own. The Exorcist Rip-Off. Pretty Typical of it's kind really but some WAY over the top OVER acting. And thats what I dig. Picked this up fo 25 cents at a yard sale years ago then recently found it as part of the Grindhouse Experience DVD Collection (You can find it on Amazon!!) The story starts out hilarious with a great OLD WITCH character but she kills herself and then the Daughter gets revenge. Sometimes you can find this on Amazon for under $1 on VHS and I hear sometimes you can find it at Dollar Tree! At any price this is worth a look. Also try and look it up online by usin OV Guide. Try it first...This type of film is an aquirred(sic) Taste and not everyone likes Badfilm. Only if you are a Fan of Great Badfilm/Grindhouse/Drive-In/Sleaze Films. If you liked "Beyond the Door"....Well then..come on in!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Story opens up with a Gypsy witch stealing a chalice from a Church. At the same time a child is kidnapped and the witch is brought in for questing, before any answers can be obtained she jumps out the window and dies, her sprit possesses the police commissioners daughter who is the ugliest child I have ever seen. played by Marián Salgado Well after this she starts acting worst the Linda Blair in Exorcist. The Police Chief who was played by Fernando Sancho went on to make 239 other movies, mostly European, that?s a carrier. The Movie is from the Grindhouse Movie Collection Volume 1 which is 20 movies for about $60, but cheaper at Amazon. Even if I was high I could only give this film 2 stars.
