Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com What's most impressive about Death Walks on High Heels, besides its fantastic title, is the sheer sprawling ambition of what initially seems a rather heavily stylized sun dappled murder mystery. Rated: 3/5 Oct 8, 2020 Full Review Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand The operatic, intense close-ups that Sergio Leone turned into a stylistic trademark of the spaghetti western are transformed by Ercoli into mystery and menace... Audience Member Not a big fan. Just came off too corny and ludicrous. The music didn't help, it felt like watching a 70s porno. At least it could've provided some more gore, or stylistic kills. Extra points for the hilarious overuse of karate chops in the hilarious fights. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Another Great Giallo Film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member A sleazy and twisty giallo. Watch for the black-face strip routine! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Very good. Preferred it to 'Forbidden photos.....'. Everything you expect from a good Giallo, except not as much gore. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member a gloriously creepy, if at times convoluted, giallo set in a remote unnamed English coastal village with a superbly bizarre cast of support characters and extras Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Nice little giallo that keeps you guessing throughout. Stylishly directed by Ercoli and filled with twists and turns. Good murder scenes and of course some dabbling in fetishism. A fun film for giallo fans.
