11/13/2015 A mother of three tries to take care of her old dad suffering of dementia as well as her kids. They are poor and things are not bright at all. She does a pretty horrible act towards her father and we follow his side of the view, while we also see her regretfulness. Well acted film with a great atmosphere. dark and bleek, realistic and heartbreaking. A good film that has some beauty mixed in with all the drama. It never really shine and I fail to sympethize much with the mother/daughter. 7 out of 10 park benches. See more 02/13/2014 María é uma mãe solteira, de meia idade e com três filhos. Ela nunca está sozinha, toma conta de todos, dorme pouco e trabalha demais. Augustín é seu pai, que está senil e sabe disso. Uma visita de María ao escritório de previdência social revela que ela é muito pobre para colocar seu pai em um asilo, porém muito rica para receber benefícios. Ela pensa numa solução cruel: abandonar seu pai em uma praça. Augustín espera então pelo demorado retorno da filha.
