Claudio C @Claudio666 Jun 23 La marche / The Marchers (2013) Based on a True Event (12,526 – 23 Jun 2026 – Claudio Carvalho) In 1983, when the youth Mohammed (Tewfik Jallab) is shot by a racist police officer in the Minguittes, Lyon, his friends give the address of the shooter for Mohamed to seek revenge. However, he is pacifist and prefers to organize a march against the racism in France from Lyon to Paris with Father Dubois (Olivier Gourmet) like Martin Luther King and Gandi did. The march begins with nine people only but is a tremendous success in the end. "La marche", a.k.a. "The Marchers" (2013), is a film based on a true event in France. The screenplay is romanticized, play with emotions and beautiful, and most of the characters are charismatic. But it is an important recollection to newer generations. My vote is seven. Title (Brazil): "A Marcha" ("The March") See more 12/15/2013 Still after years and centuries racism is deep-seated. Simple plot, emotional movie. A dream of a group of people coming true.
