This is a movie where attention is given to the lives of the characters, not the flourishes of the director. 06/07/2020 I think this encyclopedia benefits me See more 08/26/2009 Whilst Jeanne Moreau will always be considered one of the Grande Dames of cinema, her small directoral output it seems has been overlooked. This gentle coming of age drama however, starring that other great French actress, Simone Signoret, may have slight flaws but is well worth watching just to see another side of Moreau's talent.
