Ram Narayan's Laila has a subject ripe for a good valentine entertainer but this comedy of errors needed much sharper writing. Too much reliance on crass humor and not enough on the inherent story. Vishwak Sen has his moments particularly as Laila but that isn't enough to save the movie. The portions between Vishwak Sen and Abhimanyu Singh as a comic villain lift the second half somewhat.
