Audience Member Many people won't get this film but for what it was I liked it. The main character a Kate has just lost her husband and is trying to convince the World she is ok. Just like most people in mourning, Kate is trying to put on a brave face but has lost everything. Christian Bale in American Psycho was a monster trying to act normal. Many people thought the actor himself was a bad actor but the character was the bad actor. I think the actress in Lake Eerie was trying to perform how people in distress mask themselves. Its an interesting film but I dont think typical horror fans will understand it. For a small indie film with an original story and Lance Henriksen and Betsy Baker- I applaud the effort. I couldn't deal with the script, it's so formal, it's insane. The dialogue in any movie should be casual and natural and it drives me mad that the acting is so awkward.
