Much of the planet's population and environment has been destroyed in a nuclear holocaust. Those who are still alive live in caves, and many roam the wasteland in marauding gangs. But some survivors, like Harmony (Deborah Rennard) and Anderson (Garrick Dowhen), want a better life and go in search of a city called Blue Lake, where no rape, murder and pillaging are said to exist. However, the maniacal metal-faced Slater (Daniel Radell), Anderson's rival, wants them dead.

Robert R A movie so bad that it's good. What better way to watch on a lazy labor day. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/04/23 Full Review Audience Member After the apocalypse, two uninteresting heroes try to survive in the rocky brush land that serves as a "desolate hellscape". Together they will overcome a gang LARPing hell-bikers, hillbilly cannibals, and heavily armed Jawas. Despite that sentence it's still some how boring. anchor.fm/foundonshelfpod/episodes/Land-of-Doom---1986-e1ffoi1 Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review s r So bad, but not good. I tried rating before and there was an error. Saw it on TCM. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This warriors-of-the-waserland flick desperately wants to be Mad Max, but despite all the mohawks, modified vehicles and studded biker leather, this film is just dull and can't even be enjoyed on a cheesy "Bronx Warrior" or "After the Fall of New York" level or even on a so-bad-it's-good ironic level. A male wastelander in search of a fabled paradise on the edges of the wastes teams up with a female wastelander who has a touch phobia (that part is actually ironically funny at times though). They encounter a series of bandits and assorted leather clad wastelanders, but it's all pretty uninteresting. One interesting note of trivia, this fine film's director, Peter Maris, directed the groundbreaking 1995 computer game "Phantasmagoria." Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is a low budget rip off of a low budget film. It is so bad I had to watch the whole thing, its like a train wreck. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Cheesy in a bad way, has an ending like they would make a sequel but the lack of an ending really Doomed it.
