LaRoy, Texas is full of Coen brothers-style charm, with its dark humor, absurd interludes, and existential middle-of-nowhere location combined with a solid level of bloody violence and characters you can't help but root for.

I have not enjoyed a movie so much in years. The way it jumped around was great with serious but comedic flair. Reminded me of Cold in July.

Entertainment that's a pleasant surprise, as long as you don't know much about it (even the trailer gives things away). A comedic film that reveals a real personal drama, that in this vast world, someone experiences something similar to each character presented here, whether in joy, sadness, health or sickness, life or death, in Laroy, Texas.

If you enjoy extremely well written, well acted dark comedy/dramas, you are going to love this movie. The first thing I did was buy a digital copy of the film so I can show it to others and see it many times over. Can’t say enough positive things about the film!

Brilliant! Atkinson did good here, there is a Coen brothers feel about it. Just LOVE the cinematography. Very well and intelligently written. Hilarious, dark, witty, unpredictable and fierce. Never a dull moment. Whole cast really excels convincingly in character. Absolutely loved it. Highly recommended
