Jay A Wow, dumb as heck, but still watchable Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/29/24 Full Review Jens B 🎃 I have no idea what did or didn't happen in this movie. At some point, the good old Full Moon VHS got damaged, and the picture and sound went out of sync, which I only noticed after a while. 💥 Lots of explosions for such a small budget. The aliens are cute, the laser does its job, and overall, you can have a lot of fun with the movie. Just please don’t ask me what exactly happens in it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/14/24 Full Review Sam G If I could give this a negative rating, I would. Pointless, plotless, inconsistent, incoherent, period inappropriate, illogical. I suppose I could try to reverse engineer a so-so movie out of this: An unbalanced human teenager finds a set of alien artifacts. As the alien tech's influence on him grows, he become violent and descends into madness. Eventually the aliens return and put him out of his misery. Mostly it's blowing cars up to make fancy explosions. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/27/24 Full Review StephenPaul C The greatest 01 hour: and 22 minutes of mind-boggling science fiction acting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love when I say that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/11/23 Full Review Audience Member The only thing I felt sorry for in this movie was when the pinball machine got wasted. So sad…. Wonder how much $$ they gave Roddy McDowall to appear in this dreck. The aliens are why I added half a star. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/22 Full Review Audience Member To call Laserblast a Guilty pleasure would be too strong .Yes it brings back memories of renting the vhs of this movie back in 1980 when the only movies one could rent were jaws 2 and death race 2000 at my local gas station before rental stores sprung up everywhere..the acting is bad.the story has more plot holes than Swiss cheese .they even got Roddy McDowell’s name wrong in the end credits .there’s a character in the movie from beginning to end that we never find out who he is,why he’s there even but it adds to the enjoyment of the movie when the end credits do arrive and we are left thinking “what the hell”with a rye smile .recommended only if you see this movie for what it is and are able to not be offended by it.I mean it was filmed over three weekends so what did you expect ? The Godfather?!! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/08/21 Full Review Read all reviews
