The highlights of this adaptation are the performances of Noah Ringer, Dev Patel and Seychelle Gabriel in their respective roles. Even though the unfair critical and commercial failure of this film resulted in the termination of Manoj Shyamalan's visionary dream to bring the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender to life, this dream is only recently being realized true by the ongoing Netflix series which made many major improvements in the live action depiction of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Every fan of the Netflix live- action must watch this film at least once to learn how creativity is a process and how many baby steps it takes to grant a noble vision a giant leap.
