By far the worst disappointment my generation had ever seen put to film. (And that says a lot.) The original show was and is a master class in storytelling. This movie however makes every mistake there is; clunky dialogue, terrible acting and bad/non-existent choreography make for a movie that is unenjoyable even to a casual movie goer who does not know the source material.

A very, very underrated movie. Apparently fans got mad because it wasn't faithful to the original story but that doesn't mean it's a bad movie. It's a great shame that the sequel was never made as the cast was very good and the end had me excited for it.

After watching this, and the original series, my only disappointment was it is only 1 film, and expected to hear about a sequel. Disappointing to hear the next film was scrapped. It was very close to the actual series. Truly loved the effects, the cast was spot on, the script was good. Really wish they'd put the series back on the table.

This is probably the GOAT for worst film adaptations of all time. I absolutely loved the original cartoon and this was so bad I turned it off halfway through. The rampant whitewashing of indigenous and Asian characters recast with white actors was abhorrent. The acting was dull. The story made no sense. The effects looked bad. I honestly can't imagine a worse adaptation than this.

The Last Airbender squanders its source material through an incredibly poor and lazy retelling of events from the animated show. The acting is bland and lifeless and the story incomplete. Shyamalan managed to take one of the greatest cartoons in existence and flip it into one of the worst films in existence. The Last Airbender is a huge slap in the face to the original cartoon and all of those who dedicated their time to making it.
