Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com "Last Gasp" isn't a hoot, but it provides a few decent turns of plot to keep things passably interesting. Rated: B- Aug 12, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Robert Patrick plays a land developer who gets into a violent altercation with a Native American. Years later he begins sacrificing humans per the curse put upon him. A woman gets into his business when she hires a private detective to find her boyfriend who has disappeared. Joanna Pacula plays the woman. This was pretty good, although you could see the ending coming a mile away. Still pretty fun though. Patrick plays a great bad guy. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a decent thriller with a committed performance from Robert Patrick, but it's all pretty ordinary and lackluster. it feels like the possession story going on here has just been done so much better, and would be better served, if they went more schlock with it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/29/21 Full Review Audience Member WarnerVideo feature has large scale building developer picking up the immortal spirit of a cannibalistic tribe member that he kills in order to ensure the smooth development of a resort. Sounds like a pretty iffy plot but this film did hold my attention reasonably well. I watched the screener for this film and which detailed grand plans of WarnerVideo's entrance in the direct to video market with titles like "The Granny" and "Kleptomaniac". I'll be keeping my eyes open for these evasive titles. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Warner attacks the direct to video market with full force, clearly understanding how to earn dollars in this lucrative market. The spirit of a tribal warrior invades a developer. I was more intrigued by the missing person investigation, rather than the voodoo subplot. Filmed in Romania.
