In this nail-biting thriller, Dr. Lewis Shaler (Dougray Scott, Mission: Impossible II) boards a night train with his young son, Max. As he chats with a friendly fellow passenger, Sarah (Kara Tointon, EastEnders), he idly wonders why the train isn't following its normal route. When the train hurtles past their stopes, Shaler and the other passengers realize something is seriously wrong. Communications are down and the emergency brakes don't work. As the train rockets dangerously down the tracks and crashes through whatever is put in its path, Shaler and the rest of the passengers take matters into their own hands. But they're no match for this multi-ton monster careening down a path to utter destruction. Read More Read Less

Larushka Ivan-Zadeh metro.co.uk This has the potential to become a camp classic of UK cinema, with the mundane British setting amusingly at odds with the disaster-thriller delivery. Rated: 3/5 Sep 6, 2017 Full Review John Hartl Seattle Times It (almost literally) runs off the rails with a series of twists that ultimately invite more laughs than tension. Rated: 2.5/4 Apr 24, 2014 Full Review Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times Mr. Nooshin stirs a mystery that's light on special effects and bravely uncomplicated. Apr 24, 2014 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Here's a pleasant surprise, an under-the-radar thriller in the tradition of Steven Spielberg's Duel. Rated: 3/4 Jun 18, 2022 Full Review David Bax Battleship Pretension ...the deeper engine of Last Passenger is a humanistic impulse, the belief that we can improve ourselves and our lot by working together and even sacrificing for one another when necessary... Mar 4, 2021 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com Completely unremarkable and pedestrian in every sense, a speeding train hurtling toward an impending doom has never seemed so dull. John L Last Passenger is a brilliant film.....all you have to do is view it! And then you will appreciate my view. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/15/24 Full Review jwcdood Not sure where the critics came up with a high rating for LAST PASSENGER but it becomes boring and the ending is incomplete. The audience ratings are lower than the critics, yet are still too high. Zzzzzzzz ✨😴✨ Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/07/23 Full Review Audience Member The stakes are high. Random people will become close. And there has to be a solution to the speeding train. Makes me want to research modes of transportation for weaknesses. I don't want me or anyone in a hopeless situation like this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Once it got going, this turned out to be a good little thriller. The acting was natural and I thought that the boy played his part very well. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member 85% for what?Bad actors, bad technical execution, looks outdated in any aspect, low budget very visible. Waste of time Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review william s Takes time to get going but once it does it rolls steady.Just enough camp to work.....good little popcorn flick.
