Suspense is spun out almost to the edge of audience hysteria in this terror-at-sea thriller. Go to Full Review

Mark B 07/05/2024 I little melodrama but the special effects are great. All is filmed on an actual ship that was going to salvage yard. Holds up and the tight 90 minutes works. See more Blu B 02/15/2024 Pretty by the numbers disaster movie stuff all around. It's pretty unremarkable overall. There are some cool effects of sinking the ship where it looks like there actually in the ocean doing it which is pretty cool actually. Outside of that this has all the problems of the cliches of this genre even going back to 1960. The characters are boring and generic save for Strode. Stack's family subplot could've been cut completely as it feels completely seperate until the end. However, ouside of that this would feel like watching a dry documentary of a ship sinking. There really isn't much emotion most of the time or anything deep. There also is no music at all which contributes to the dryness. This is very predictable and by the book the entire way while being basically a Night to Remember rip off. Just without the sharpness of that movie. Unless your a die hard fan of any actors in this, most people can skip this. See more CodyZamboni 05/06/2023 Movie is suspenseful, with good performances. The early scenes remind me of The Poseidon Adventure And I like the " you are there realism " as movie was shot on real ship, Stunning action with great practical fx as real ship was partially sunk, flooding huge rooms. I was surprised there was almost no musical score, See more delysid d 03/10/2022 great movie that was 10 years ahead of it's time See more 05/27/2021 For its time this was a spectacularly produced disaster picture that still holds up for most audiences today. Watch the movie just to see Woody Strode's excellent performance. See more 05/21/2021 Tacky, disaster film See more Read all reviews
