Audience Member Let me make one thing clear, neither i am a christian nor am i a believer in God. But i still loved " Late One Night". Its not necessary that if bad things happen to us in life then god hates us or does'nt care about us. This concept is beautifully presented in this short film. Very well directed by Dave Christiano and good work by Brad Miller. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie felt more like a parable or a Sunday School play than an actual movie, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I work in a factory and there are several devout Christians who often are the victim of sarcasm and accusations because of their faith. That's one of the reasons this movie really stood out to me. Good film! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty poignant look at things. Some of the way the people respond seems pretty silly. Yet a lot of those are the views I was taught when I was a kid. That the church is out for money. And while atheists aren't usually jerks physically to Christians... we are treated that way in a larger way by a society that has decided we're silly, lesser people who don't know anything, and should keep our beliefs out of everyone else's paths at all costs. Indeed, we're a world that thinks God is a joke because things aren't perfect for us... yet we are the ones making so many of the choices that put us there. Actions have consequences. We feel it's totally unreasonable if someone wrongs us, but that we should do what we want. The rebellious character (and the friends, who just follow him blindly) was very well done. They disagree with everything just on principle, and make no real sense (and don't care). Well done. Overall, a short movie with one solid point that I felt hit home very well.
