Kevin L @Lakeman 06/26/2023 This is a pretty decent enough comedy that is close to being a perfectly good goofball comedy. There's a couple of characters that could've worked really well for consistent laughs, but just aren't quite pulled off that well, imo. If you can't play well-intentioned creepy that well, then maybe you were miscast. Or if you're obnoxious is more like just annoying than funny. But in general, this Chicago-based project with local figures from Chicago stage, film, tv, and standup working with local writers/directors Brad Riddell And Sanford Sternshein lits a lot of the notes they reach for. Particularly good are Majandra Delfin and David Walton as the central couple, Sternshein as Larry, and two really strong turns by veteran actors Davis Pasquesi and Lisa Zane. They both maximize their time on screen as two of the funniest figures in the movie. So, not bad. You might wanna check it out. 3 stars See more Read all reviews
