Corey J Absolute ass. Horrible writing, horrible acting. It was a fun watch though. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/21/23 Full Review Linden P I first saw the film several years ago and rewatched it this weekend. LATTER DAYS is a bit contradictory, to be honest, because while I don't think it holds up that well (in terms of the acting, pacing, story, etc.), I finished my rewatch thinking it may be a more important film today than it gets credit for. It's hard to understate how groundbreaking this film was at the time. It provided onscreen representation and voice to several underrepresented segments and their experiences in society. By today's standards, the romance feels Lifetime movie-esque, but at the times, it was unheard of for a movie like this to be so successful on a number of fronts, and just because a Lifetime movie is a bit sappy or predictable doesn't mean it's not enjoyable, and that's true of the romantic tropes here, for sure. I recommend this film to anyone interested in gay cinema, independent cinema, and the evolutionary journey and intersection of both. It's very interesting when viewed through that lens. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/15/23 Full Review ROB S Good movie....acting is ok, some actors better than others, but the scene towards the end at Lila's always melts my heart.... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/23/23 Full Review PridePosterStudios Every time a jock swings, a Mormon gets his wings Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/26/24 Full Review james p I loved this film. I thought it well done, enjoyed the characters, plot and dialogue.
