Jordan Mintzer The Hollywood Reporter The characters are compelling enough to avoid turning into major clichs, while stars Camelia Jordana and Daniel Auteuil prove to be a winning pair. Nov 22, 2017 Full Review Jordi Costa El Pais (Spain) Le Brio is a supposedly enlightened film of high culture that succumbs to the formals of multiplex cinema. Hugo C Excellent film qui m'a beaucoup touché. L'écriture et le rythme sont splendides. L'interprétation des acteurs est magistral. A voir. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/17/24 Full Review catherine w Less sentimental than I expected and useful lessons in rhetoric and cross-cultural misunderstandings. Some interesting twists. Camélia Jordana was riveting and Daniel Auteuil was restrained but funny. They seemed to enjoy themselves, which made it enjoyable for me. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Goota B Feel good movie. Well done. Terrific acting and cinematography. Mushy but I still enjoyed it. Subtitles. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Funny, witty, politically incorrect, french humor.Delicious plot, a pleasure to watch.I love Daniel Auteil, good old school... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie is ridiculous from the get go in that the audience is suppose ti believe in the year 2018 a distinguished Professor of Law at a prestigious University in Paris could be such an out and out bigot and raciest. and he seems to be proud of his feelings. Dumb. we find this out within the first 5 minutes of the movie. After that one could leave the theater and write the continuation of the script since the story is soooo obvious. HOWEVER, the movie is worth going to just to watch great acting. Daniel Auteuil and Nozha Khouadra are perfect.. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
