Audience Member The life of three young and beautiful Roman seamstresses, with their infatuations, family troubles and everyday events. If this is the Italian equivalent of the teen flick from the fifties, then it is much more impressive than most modern equivalents. Nevertheless, it is also true that perhaps it is the nostalgic feeling that Emmer's film carries that elevates the standards of the film. It's also nice to see Marcello Mastroianni appear towards the end of the film in one of his first appearences on the big screen.
