See more 06/25/2012 The story focuses on a moral that is put a little too severely for what it is with tradgedies along the way but else, it is very well shot and thought of (screenplay). See more 04/05/2012 I found this movie awfully bad. The actions were long, if you can call it actions, because nothing is moving, nothing is happening. When you're making a movie, you have the power to make something big, unusual things, or to move from actions to actions. But in this movie, those opportunities are not taken, it's boring and terribly long. Only good thing is Gilbert Sicotte, truly deserved his Jutra, even if is character is kind of annoying, we can see he's a great actor and did a great job. See more 04/01/2012 This is a chronicle, so not much is going on. The background is interesting though and the main character fits well in this universe. The main problem though, is that Sebatien Pilote seems afraid to keep his film on the chosen path and adds predictable and annoying events to keep the story moving. Still, it's got interesting themes and it is pretty good. Gilbert Sicotte gives the performance of his career. See more 03/08/2012 Jutra 2012. See more 03/07/2012 Un excellent film, lent et deprimant (ca va avec le sujet), sur le drame des regions eloignees du Quebec qui vivent et meurent avec une seule industrie qui fournit les emplois dans les villages. Gilbert Sicotte est excellent en vendeur de voitures qui voit son monde changer quand les difficultes des travailleurs a l'usine affectent sa vie directement, avec des consequences tragiques. Triste, tres triste. Et les paysages hivernaux brutaux rendent ca encore pire. Bien content de vivre a Montreal finalement ;). See more Read all reviews
