Average CGI, good set design and costumes, and terrible acting. See more 02/20/2021 Visually interesting, but, hard to follow the story-line in this one See more 04/28/2020 Lots of action, demons, visual effects and stunts are pretty much constant, but trying to discern a clear plot is rather difficult. Generally its the old 2 tribes go to war. But the subtleties, if there were any, were lost on me. Enjoyable enough so long as you are awake and alert so that you can keep up with the many twists and turns. I found it hard to discern the good guys from the bad many times. I found this interesting and a nice add to my list of China Kung Fu Fantasy movies. I found this very entertaining kinda humorous like these can be mixed with nice fight scenery. Think of this Linda like Lord of the Rings meets Hidden Kingdom or Dragonball Z and you know what to expect. So if your not doing anything and need something new to watch to kill time and be entertained... (This is it!) Oh yeah costumes are killer!!! Enjoy I think there needs to be a part 2.
