Claudio C Les couloirs du temps: Les visiteurs II / The Visitors II: The Corridors of Time (1998) The Corridors of Time (12,007 – 22 Oct 2025– by Claudio Carvalho) Count of Montmirail (Jean Reno) returns to 1193 with Jacquart, leaving Jacquouille (Christian Clavier) and the jewels he stole from Duke Fulbert (Patrick Burgel) in the Twentieth Century. This mistake leaves the corridors of time open and the Duke ill, postponing Montmirail’s wedding. Meanwhile, Jacquouille and Ginette (Marie-Anne Chazel) create havoc in the Twentieth Century. Montmirail and Jacquart drink the potion to bring Jacquouille and the jewels back to the Middle Ages to close and fix the corridors of time, But things do not go as planned. “Les couloirs du temps: Les visiteurs II”, a,k,a, “The Visitors II: The Corridors of Time” (1998) is the sequel of “Les visiteurs” (1993). The first film is original and funny, inclusive remade later in the USA (“Just Visiting”). However, this sequel is silly and repetitive, with jokes unfunny based on the stupidity of Jacquouille and the no-good thief Ginette. The open ending indicates that Jean-Marie Poiré has the intention of creating a franchise. My vote is six. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member ni la terminé de ver, me aburrió. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Without reaching the surprise effect of the first one, I must confess this is one of the rare films I was very excited to watch the sequel because I loved the original so much I was eager to see what would happen to this mad bunch of loony's on the lose. Well everyone is back (except Dame Beatrice - they changed the actress but it doesn't really matter) for another slice of fun, countless jokes and an avalanche of misunderstandings that will inevitably make the audiences laugh more and more. Yes it's a sequel but it's a good one and one can only hope a third episode will be made to wrap up the story and just for the pleasure to hear once again those strange words from the past that make us laugh so much. A sequel is never easy especially after the success of the original, but I'm convinced this one is good enough to keep you amused from stat to finish. Please guys when are you make the third one.... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Beaucoup moins bon que le premier volet. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member 2h unpredictable sequel on steroids!
