Combining a proudly queer coming-of-age story with a wild sense of humor, Lesbian Space Princess is a raucous animated adventure with a big heart to go along with its rebellious spirit.

Unchallenging and sometimes clichéd but ultimately good queer fun, this just about balances zany humour with earnestness, boosted by terrific comic creations the Straight White Maliens. Go to Full Review

The gender satire might have been darker or more pointed, yet the mood is warm, endearing and giddy. Go to Full Review

Despite some missteps, directors Varghese and Hough Hobbs clearly have put a lot of love into this project, an independent animation that showcases the brightness of queer joy in the darkness. Go to Full Review

Awn C @RT74352008 4h This movie is hot steamy ass. The movie literally held your hand through every joke and concept which would be fine if it was a kids movie but it made it abundantly clear it was not by flashing the audience every 20 minutes. The characters are unbearable, the movie itself felt like it was trying to be some sort of commentary but the entire plot was so disconnected from reality everything fell flat. This movie honestly had nothing it did particularly well which is probably why the movie is so thoroughly hated. The animation is horrible. The jokes are very drawn out. The entire movie feels like the new norm TV show but even that was trying to make fun of the left, this show isn’t and is just like this for no reason. The songs are mid but they weren’t supposed to be taken seriously so I’ll let that slide but the fact nothing in this movie is supposed to be taken seriously is part of the reason why the characters development falls flat. Literally watch anything other than this movie See more Adriel josue R @RT23544253 5h la pelicula es algo interesante buena animacion chistes tontos sin gracia personajes algunos entretenidos pero la pelicula es muy predecible See more Art A @AK4ZA 10h This shit is homophobic and racist, plus sexist wtf is this why do the villains have to be white mans wtf! See more Fredrick C @spiderhater 16h It was so corny the jokes weren’t funny the characters were just plain and I’d rather play the avengers game and swing with spider man for 12 years straight See more michael J @jonesy22 16h As a member of the queer community this is the worst movie i have ever watched. I was disgusted that us the community of inclusivity made a movie that was racist and sexist as well as the repetitive unfunny humour throughout the movie. It was honestly embarrassing and has been the worst movie i’ve seen this year. DO NOT RECOMMEND See more SpuddieeZzz T @SpuddieeZzz 17h My biggest issue is that the movie has the ingredients for a good character-driven comedy, but the writing takes the easiest route. Pacing feels directionless, random musical numbers kill momentum, and on-the-nose social commentary stops feeling like satire. Saira shows the wasted potential. Her anxiety is constantly emphasized, but we barely see who she is beyond crying, struggling, and getting rescued. Her growth is resolved too quickly to feel earned, and I wanted more of her strengths and personality beyond magic. Willow and Saira had potential, but their relationship needed development. Hooking up then immediately pushing Willow away feels rushed. Convenient plotting hurts too: Saira finds things too easily, the Moon Crystal is handed to her, Blade is defeated too quickly, and she keeps getting saved. The art is cute and Problematic Ship is funny, but overall it feels like a shallow temu Rick and Morty version of a better movie. See more Read all reviews
