Growing up, James Ellis (Kipp Marcus) is warned about love by his grandmother (Judith Malina) -- she claims a curse plagues his family, as evidenced by his mother's (Bernadette Peters) shoddy love life. During high school, James meets Sarah (Alice Dylan) and thoughts of caution disappear. Years later, James and Sarah meet again in New York City. James is a student at a culinary institute, while Sarah is an engaged workaholic. James must defeat the curse to regain his long-lost soul mate.

At once a throwback to the days of Capra and Sturges and a wholly contempo item, Snow Days is smarter and more appealing than many other recent romantic comedies. Go to Full Review

The film has refreshingly modest aims; it just wants to tell an enjoyable boy-meets-girl story. Go to Full Review

11/17/2019 This is LOVE ACTUALLY for people born in this century with American accents. It's wonderful. Fantastic SURE you know everything that's going to happen, just like Christmas! And Kiernan Shipka. Did I say it has Kiernan Shipka? Not everything has to be cutting edge or British. Thank you for this normal! movie. See more 09/01/2007 This is a very well made movie, not well known but just everything about it; it all falls into place to make it quite good. It has some good moments of humor and is simply pleasant. See more 08/27/2007 I saw this a long time ago on HBO and it just stuck with me. It's just a very pure little love story, with some silly bits that seem to make it unforgettable. See more 07/24/2007 My sis and I saw this once upon a time on HBO .
