Donald Clarke Irish Times Those allergic to voguish “elevated horror” will have nothing to fear from [McMahon's] latest venture into comic bloodletting. He remains as dedicated to robust, uncomplicated entertainment as ever. Rated: 3/5 Jan 21, 2023 Full Review Paul Lê Tales from the Paulside Let the Wrong One In is a comedy well balanced in laughs and gore. Rated: 3/5 Jul 23, 2023 Full Review Gemma Creagh Film Ireland Magazine With brilliantly ridiculous dialogue, outlandishly hilarious set ups and lots and lots of cartoonish gore, there is much for horror fans to sink their fangs into in Let the Wrong One In. Jan 27, 2023 Full Review Paul Whitington Irish Independent McMahon blends the gaudy aesthetic of classic Hammer horror with Dublin’s salty slang to amusing effect, but while the conflation of addiction and vampirism is a good idea, he doesn’t do much with it. Rated: 2/5 Jan 20, 2023 Full Review Aoife Fealy Film Ireland Magazine Let The Wrong One In is a playful nod-and-wink to the classics of the genre resulting in an entertaining romp of ridiculous gore, Irish jokes and practical effects. Apr 14, 2022 Full Review Tim Brennan About Boulder If you pour yourself a nice Jameson and serve it with beef and Guinness pie, youll get into the right mindset. My only advice is to make sure the beef is bloody. Apr 11, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

AJ R The first 5 mins I thought ‘yes! This is my kind of movie' and then it just got really boring and almost like a ‘Confessions of a Window Cleaner' vibe with poorly written jokes. It was just boring, I couldn't even finish it. I hoped for ‘Young Offenders do horror' but this was more like a student film with budget. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/24 Full Review Rick O We really enjoyed this guilty pleasure. Lots of laughs. Plenty of winking going on. Well written and Ireland has some very good young actors. It's all in fun. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Peter N The heavy Dublin accent may put some off but this is just funny. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Courtney K this movie is not great, haha - but some parts were absolutely hilarious. that ending?! LOL! it doesn't take itself too seriously, which is good, if it had i don't think it wouldn't've been as good as it is. which, again, is not great but kind of a fun ride. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Bill P For fans of the horror-comedy this one is a gem. Funny, ridiculous, and blood soaked from end to end. Plus some nice ariel shots of the River Liffey at the end. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review sean s Silly Irish Vampire movie with parallels to drug addiction. It is kind of offbeat and funny for the most part. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
