Audience Member A heartfelt documentary that shows a rare insight behind deeply creative people. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A film that makes me want to research the content afterwards, is always a good film. A great talent lost to the world by chance. A talent that inspired a generation and was on the cusp of moulding the next generation with her perfect vision of contemporary dance. An insight into what separates greatness from mediocre. This film is only let down by the unexplained mystery of her passing. Untouched in the content. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Rated: 4/5 Apr 13, 2012 Full Review Julie Rigg MovieTime, ABC Radio National Wim Wenders's Pina, about the late Pina Bausch, has set the bar high. This one is worth treasuring, in the same canon. Apr 13, 2012 Full Review Margaret Pomeranz At the Movies (Australia) I don't think it's the best documentary I've ever seen but certainly it does give insight into her life and work Rated: 3/5 Apr 13, 2012 Full Review Leigh Paatsch Herald Sun (Australia) Though much of the film's context is ensconced in the dance industry, Life in Movement is a powerfully rendered tale of young creatives finding their place in the world. Rated: 4/5 Apr 13, 2012 Full Review Cara Nash FILMINK (Australia) Deftly compiled and packed with revealing footage, this is a beautiful tribute to its subject, and also an eye-opening look into the emotional power of art.
