Derek Malcolm London Evening Standard The moral of this well-shot but grossly uneven film is obviously that, once you get what you want, you may well find either that you don't want it, or that devastating complications can ensue. Rated: 3/5 Jan 26, 2007 Full Review Anthony Quinn Independent (UK) "Muddled" is the polite word, balderdash the preferred one. Rated: 1/5 Jan 26, 2007 Full Review Tim Robey Daily Telegraph (UK) The Italian denim company Meltin' Pot paid for Rankin and Chris Cottam's unendurably pretentious stab at gangland street spirituality. Why? Jan 26, 2007 Full Review Anton Bitel musicOMH.com dares, from the unlikely vantage of Britain's criminal underworld, to look heavenwards - and, in its darkly pessimistic way, to see nothing there. Rated: 4/5 Jun 19, 2007 Full Review Philip French Observer (UK) As painfully hypnotic as watching a religious zealot ranting in the street and carrying a banner proclaiming the second coming. Jan 28, 2007 Full Review Nicholas Barber Independent on Sunday Comes across as an obscure Renaissance play which has been badly modernised. Jan 28, 2007 Full Review Read all reviews

angela e Even though it is sad and heartbreaking, l enjoyed it very much and have watched it a couple of times and even suggested it to people. I also adore Sophia Loren. Okay, I might not give it an A, but I'd at least give it a B. There are parts I would edit out. It's worth watching if you adore Sophia Loren. She's an ageless beauty, like a chiseled sculpture.
