An action-thriller in the vein of the John Wick and Equalizer film series, the film tells of an angry mob, fed up with a deadly virus that has wiped out most of the population, that attack a school to rid their city of those they suspect are spreading the disease. One man must rescue his sister and fight his way out, against the armed militia.

Brian Costello Common Sense Media Don't waste your time. Sometimes movies are so bad in every possible way, you start to wonder if Western Civilization is on its way out. Lockdown is one of those movies. Rated: 1/5 May 3, 2022 Full Review Jason Delgado Film Threat Lockdown is just not engaging on any front. A sequel is teased during the movie, but I’d rather they do not play it again. Rated: 4/10 Mar 1, 2022 Full Review Evan Dossey Midwest Film Journal I wish there was a little more exploitation to this pretty standard low-budget action thriller. Jan 26, 2022 Full Review Josh Bell Crooked Marquee If this covidsploitation movie is how writer-director Micah Lyons spent his time in pandemic lockdown, he probably would have been better off learning to bake. Pamela B One of the dumbest mistakes of my life was investing in this movie. Micah should be in sales, not movie production. If you’re thinking about working with him, keep in mind that he has no problem borrowing money from you and returning half. He acts like the nicest guy but is a thief. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/06/24 Full Review Audience Member If I could have given this -5 stars I would, You're better off watching two girls one cup if you really feel like watching shit. I wouldn't even donate this movie for fear more would be tortured to watch. Was a complete waste of 85 minutes I'll never get back I would have rather spent the time watching paint dry. Out 10$ and I wouldn't even rewatch it if I was paid the 10$. Would make a great skeet target though. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Look- This is not Avengers or Jurassic Park. If you go in comparing it to a tent pole action movie you will probably be disappointed. BUT- if you go into it with an open mind, and a love for 80s/90s B-action movies you will most likely be thoroughly pleased with what you get! This movie is a LOT of fun. It has a LOT of heart with plenty of action mixed in. One surprise is that there's also a great amount of cat-n-mouse suspense to go along with the action. I really enjoyed the storyline between the hero and his little sister who he is trying to save. They have a very strained relationship that gives way to some mystery and a couple of shocking twists that you 100% won't see coming. Kevin Nash's presence is powerful in the film and his son in the movie (Swayde McCoy) may have stolen the whole show. I gave this movie 5 stars despite the obvious low budget because for the right crowd, it really is a near bullseye. I laughed at the cheesy yet perfectly placed taglines, I rooted for the hero in a bevy of wrestling (edging on street brawling) fight scenes and I cringed as the bad guys continually came dangerously close to finding the hero and his sister in several intense moments. Don't miss this little gem of an action flick on Amazon prime, iTunes, or where ever else it pops up. Cheers! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member I didn't like it. You can try to watch it if you really want... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
